Stroud District Council are seeking to recruit a self-motivated, enthusiastic and committed individual to deliver and develop youth participation programmes across the district using a community development approach to youth work.
You will be working as part of a friendly and passionate youth work team who support young people’s transition to adulthood in a variety of youth work group settings across the district.
You will be responsible for facilitating young people’s active involvement in their communities by creating spaces that enable them to be youth voice representatives. You will achieve this by working in partnership with local schools, youth organisations and statutory partners. You will play an pivotal role in the creation and delivery of the council’s new Youth Strategy which is due to be completed by March 2024.
