This is a rewarding time to join Stroud District Council in this Housing Officer role as we embrace the changes being introduced by legislative reform. You will play a crucial part in supporting our communities and valuing our people along with making a difference by delivering on our objectives.
In this role you will work with our communities, partners, and our internal colleagues to deliver an exceptional tenancy management service. You will be responsible for income collection, supporting our tenants with tenancy matters, signposting and making referrals for support as necessary.
Our service is a forward thinking, dedicated and the team you’ll be joining work exceptionally well together, whilst providing a wide range of services within our communities. You will play a significant role and will be a central figure on our estates, transforming services and finding innovative ways to resolve challenging situations.
This role has become available following a review of the housing service provision, a restructure has been successfully concluded to ensure sufficient resources are available to deliver on our priorities, add resilience and enhance our service offer, whilst ensuring staff welfare is at the heart of our service.
About you
